The restaurant was quite busy with takeout orders, so we had to wait a bit, but it was definitely worth it. The young man at the front desk apologized for the wait, and I think the owner should definitely keep him on as he did a fantastic job, especially for a new employee. We will definitely be returning!
I recently had the pleasure of trying some of the best Thai cuisine in Brisbane at Massaman Thai Restaurant. My expectations were exceeded, which is rare for me as I am quite hard to impress. Darin and Jack, the friendly owners, welcomed me warmly and showed great knowledge of Thai cuisine. I ordered a variety of dishes including the Mixed Entree, Tom Kha Chicken, Stir Fried Chicken Basil, Salt Pepper Squid, and Jasmine Rice. The flavors were authentic and the ingredients were fresh, with minimal oil and sugar used in the cooking. This was a pleasant surprise, as many Thai restaurants tend to overuse these ingredients. As a visitor from Sydney and coming from a Thai heritage, I am usually disappointed by most Thai restaurants, but Massaman Thai Restaurant was a true gem. I highly recommend this restaurant to both locals and visitors for its delicious food and top-notch service. If you're lucky, Darin might even treat you to some beautiful songs. I wish Darin and Jack all the best with their restaurant and look forward to visiting again next time I am in Brisbane.
We discovered a fantastic Thai restaurant in Albany Creek that has quickly become our favorite! We have visited multiple times now and the food is consistently delicious and fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive.
I had lunch here and it was great. staff are nice, food came out quickly and it was super tasty. definitely recommend the pad see ew. it's a casual place in the shopping village so not the fanciest of places but still good.
I had Takeaway from here in Sept which was lovely. Mussaman beef and a chicken cashew type stirfry. Visited on the weekend and was so suprised that the food was unexpectedly bland. it just lacked those delicious Thai flavours in the all main dishes and the entrees...fish cakes were nice with the sauce and service was also good.
