We got some Carne asada tacos for lunch at work and for $2.50 a piece they did not disappoint. I will he back for more tacos!
It's not exactly a warm and fuzzy place but they are polite. I usually get the biónico and they are willing to customize it since some things I don't like or can't have. Having the pictures on the wall can help if you aren't sure what you want to try.
Their chamoyada was unlike other chamoyadas I've had.. and I've had many. From Portland to San Diego, for the most part they've all been similar. Flavor of choice (usually I get mango), you'd have a blended drink portion of the flavor of the fruit of choice and some fruit of choice chunks. Of course, you can't forget the chamoy. Here it was a mixture of the normal mango sherbet, frozen mango chunks, chamoy, and then it gets different. There was a green slush, I'm guessing lime flavor? Then frozen cucumber chunks. I wasn't expecting the cucumber chunks. It was also less of a drink. Mostly sherbet (orange and green) and frozen fruit, chamoy, and spicy, stringy red candy. Their menu was pictures and difficult to navigate. It was difficult to communicate due to a language barrier, as well. Lesson learned, it was an adventure. No more adventure for me here.
Such a disappointment. Had a hard time ordering no menu, just pictures of food on the walls, some with prices and some without. Placed my order for nachos, figured that was safe. 1 order of 3 smoothies ahead of me; the guy who took my order went to work on the smoothies. The other employee decided it was more important for her to finish breaking down boxes and haul them outside then to make my oderr. So I waited and waited. I watched while she finally started on my order and I knew this wasn't going to turn out well. First she grabbed a bag of Tostitos , put a bunch in a round tin, dumped a ladle of that disgusting orange goop from a crock pot onto the chips, added some warmed canned corn, and scattered a bit of Mexican cheese over it, closed it up, and served it to me. I took it home, had a taste it was pretty gross and dumped it down the disposal.
