We went here for lunch as a family, we are not fussy eaters by any means but only one out of six of us touched our food. The kids meals were burnt, the burgers had no condiments and was served with a dry, stale bun, the parmigiana again was sauceless and mushy. The only edible things on any of the plates was the measly amount of chips they give you. The high chair was sticky and covered in grime and unusable and upon wiping the tables with a serviette to wipe up the drink condensation, they were filthy too. For a young family that can’t afford to dine out often, we were thoroughly disappointed but at least know where not to go next time.
Misleading TripAdvisor information. This is one of 3 hotels built in Albany in the 1890s. Many older hotels in WA. e.g. 1841 Rose Crown 1852 Sterling Arms ...and so on. Pays to research.
Disappointing experience, the place is in dire need of a refurb, we thought the old place would have character but we found it featureless, dirty (toilets and table was gross), the food was awful and staff looked like they did not want to working. Sorry it was a big thumbs down for us
I have visited this restaurant before and decided to come back, but was very disappointed with the experience this time. We waited over an hour for our food to be delivered, even though it wasn't very busy for the time of day. It would have been appreciated if we had been informed about the wait before we placed our order. The steak sandwich we ordered only had lettuce and cheese on it.
