Frederick's Cafe - Albany

Had a nice lunch at Fredericks while in town for business. The staff were friendly and there was a range of choices. Inside seating was limited and I found the outside tables a little too cool. Service was prompt and my pasta was enjoyable.

Came for coffee. One almond latte and one soy latte. Both tasted sour and burnt. Cheap almond milk used. Turfed them swiftly. Food might be decent though!

We went to Fredericks to get lunch, it is lovely looking and a nice, protected outdoor area with fresh looking food. Unfortunately, after standing and waiting for over 5 mins, being ignored by 3 staff members, one who seemed to be the manager, she chatted and laughed with a friend, handed her a menu and then walked out the back, as she was probably in her mid to late 40s should probably know better, she finally looked at me and asked if I was being served, I said no and was wanting a menu and she said oh we don't have a menu just see what we have in the cabinet.Very poor service.

We stopped in for brunch . But the Full Monty breakfast called his name. I had fruit toast and jam- there was no butter but as the jam was so nice , I didn't mind it. The staff were very nice , putting the outdoor heater on as it was a little "brisk".
