I give full credit to the hardworking staff who put in long hours. As an early bird, I noticed that they start setting up tables at 4:45 am to open at 5 am. By that time, there is already a line forming for coffee, and it's no surprise, as the coffee and snacks are delicious! This place is a great spot to visit for excellent service with a friendly smile.
This restaurant is unique, welcoming, and always bustling. I ordered a long black coffee, which is the perfect way to judge the quality of a coffee place, and I was impressed with the coffee here. The view of the marina while waiting for a boat tour was a nice bonus.
While attending a business meeting in town, we decided to take a walk around Albany Marina and stumbled upon a small kiosk that seemed promising for lunch. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be disappointing. The food was poorly cooked, with the potatoes in the salad being partly raw. When we brought this up to the server, she was polite, but the owner in the back was unhelpful and unfriendly, claiming that was how the food was served. We have never encountered partially cooked food like this before and were put off by the poor quality and rude service. We cannot recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful place for coffee. Located on the harbour in Albany in front of the Hilton Garden Inn. Plenty of seating and a great grassed area for kids. Had coffee from here on a number of occasions during our stay and each time it was great. Milkshakes were also rated highly by the 17 and 12 yo. Food looked good, but we didn’t get to try any. Staff were friendly.
