Loft 22 - Albany

Great eating, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. we had the pleasure of being served by one of the chefs. she had extensive wine and food knowledge for pairing, quite a tasty bite! she could describe every dish in detail to help our selection and give good suggestions. delicious menu options and an interesting wine list with many good choices, including some local gems. we decided this time to eat outdoors to take the fresh air and the beautiful view of the peace park and the harbour at sunset. the only part was a loud generator close.

Food was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful, and we had a very pleasant evening. I booked an extra place very late in the day and they accommodated us without any hassle.

Lovely as always, menu definitely changed since last time possibly a bit too much garlic in everything for us specifically as unfortunately we have two people who medically aren't allowed sulfur based foods so probably something we would have to be quite careful of for return visits. Drinks wise would love to see a non alcoholic cocktails option even if only a couple of drinks, as again medically alcohol isn't really something I'm allowed but don't really want to drink soft drinks all the time and there weren't any options for non drinkers. Lovely evening nonetheless and staff were amazing, thanks.

It seems to have had a change if chef, as the most popular dish being the garlic prawns were not the same as they were. A slight dissapointment, But overall it was pleasant
