Venice Restaurant - Albany

We recently stayed at Albany for two nights, and one of the restaurants highly recommended by the host at our Guesthouse was Venice. It was a short walk away, and we had a spectacular meal ... not just good, but one of those rare experiences when you take your first mouthful, look at each other, and say OMG. The service and ambiance were great, and especially considering the quality of our meals, the value for money was good. We were so impressed that we went back to Venice for our second night's dinner !

I had a delicious pizza here, with lots of cheese. For dessert, I enjoyed the gelato. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I came to this restaurant on Sat July 8th with my brother and my aunty to just have coffees. I ordered black coffee, it the coffee was served very well, I didn't what beans they used but it tasted smooth, I came from Indonesia where we have lots of great coffees there, but the one Venice has is really nice as well. I tried my brother's affogato, its cream was delicious. Oh, there was a funny scene, where my brother suddenly said to the girl who served our table, he said as if I wanted to take a picture with the girl, but my quick response was disappointing by saying 'did I say that,bro?' .. yea and I lost that moment and regret it now, I should have taken that moment to know her name, because she is indeed beautiful and sweet :) I hope this restaurant will remain and improve its nice quality more and more, and hope to meet the girl who served our orders again one day.

Good place for a night out with children. The food was lovely. The pizzas are very good. Simple service. A little overpriced in my opinion for the service you receive, but still a nice evening out. Bring your own wine.

We come to the Venice every time we are in Albany (1 or 2 times/year) and have done for a number of years. The service is always top notch and the food always good, reliable fare at a reasonable price. It's not gourmet or fine dining but it is always busy (so book ahead) and won't disappoint.
