Casino - Albarracin

On a Monday early evening there were hardly any restaurants open. Hungry and having been earlier to Casino for a coffee we reluctantly returned. The food was homely, tasty, inexpensive, served without frills or smiles. Dishes such as garlic soup were obviously local. Nearly all other customers were Spanish, staff spoke only Spanish.

I was slightly put off by the light coloured furnishings when I looked inside Bar Restaurant Casino, as I suspected that it might just be a restaurant. Appearances can be deceptive however and this is just a simple, local cafe bar. With cold beer served in clay pots, and decent tapas, it’s s good place for a quiet drink and a snack. And as an added bonus you can enjoy fabulous views from the terrace windows. When we were there, in addition to people having bees and snacks, groups of villagers were sat at tables playing cards and dominoes. So I suspect that this is the social hub of the village.

Las vistas inmejorables desde todas las ventanas. Super recomiendo. Buena relación calidad/precio, el menú bastante completo y con opciones para elegir completar cada paso. El pan espectacular y la natilla muy rica
