The Heritage - Albert Lea

I was there on Saturday evening with my family. They have recently rebuilt the restaurant and it is really a great improvement. I order the Taco pizza. it is the best Italian eat in the opposite and they have the best pizza in the minnesota. it is extremely convenient to order any size pizza, and have it ready in 10 minutes! they have a complete menu for the tour that is very convenient. overall, the food and the atmosphere are excellent.

What a jewel. totally unexpected to get such a tasty eating in a small town like albert lea. if they ever travel the interstate 90, they do one liked and drive them a mile south on I-35 to eat here. chef john is talented. he came out and talked to us about our meal. great.

I dined at the Heritage Restaurant twice during my stay in Albert Lea, and I have to say, Barbra is an incredible host—she's friendly and very helpful. The Reuben sandwich was delightful, and the Gyro pizza was equally fantastic. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for high-quality dining at affordable prices. It's definitely worth a visit!

The hotel is dingy, poorly maintained, and quite unappealing overall. While there is Wi-Fi, the place is extremely dirty. There were no washcloths in the bathroom, and they didn't provide coffee in the morning. The so-called continental breakfast was the most disappointing I've ever encountered—it looked like someone's messy kitchen table strewn with random leftover food items. There were also questionable characters hanging around outside at night, and the exterior was littered with trash. If you find yourself in a pinch and just need a place to sleep (even without proper sheets), it might do. However, I definitely wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

When the appetizers finally arrived, the waitress attempted to carry two salads at a time, but ended up setting one plate directly on top of the other, ruining both salads in the process. When the main course finally came, it was one of the driest and least appetizing meals I’ve ever had. The shaved beef was overcooked and bland, resembling low-quality steak that tasted like it had been left over from the previous night. Overall, I would recommend choosing a different place to eat. The emptiness of the restaurant should have been a clear warning.
