The Chicken dish was not what I expected. It was loaded with ginger and that was the only overpowering taste that I could taste. I couldn't finish it. The glass of wine was what you would expect for $2.50. There seemed to be a line out the door when I was ready to leave but it seems popular with the uni students.
Amazing little restaurant. The food was amazing and well presented. I had the don don box which was so delicious. The service and fast and the folks there are friendly. I would definitely recommend :)
Try the Don Don box and a glass of beer or champagne/wine. Take away is a good option as seating can be difficult with Uni students hanging here and why not dinner and drinks for less than $15.
It seems to be very popular with Asian students and has a fast turnover on tables. I enjoyed my salmon sashimi, rice and salad for under $10. It was exceptional value and very filling.
It was a Monday & we were the only booking in the restaurant. Perhaps that should have rung the alarm bells. The positives:- beautiful venue, excellent waiter what food we had was excellent. The negatives:- you are offered a 2 course lunch for $45 or a 3 course for $65. The is of course an extensive menu as well. Now here's my problem , if are expecting a 2 course lunch at a price isn't that what you should get? Not here! 3 of my friends ordered fish . 2 had baby snapper. Asked if it was filleted, yes it was. But they got one fillet weighing in at no more than 100g! And that was the main, nothing else. You have to buy sides starting at $10 to create your $45 lunch which now becomes $55 -$65! Dishonest? poor marketing? I call it stupid! I had beetroot tortellini with walnut for main, I counted 10 pieces of pasta! Maybe I should have ordered a side of Sprouts to go with it!!Oh, I forgot to mention you get a glass of wine with your lunch.Oxford Landing! Under $10 a bottle at the local wine shop. You won't find it on there extensive wine list because it's about $50 cheaper than anything on their extensive list. What a **** cheek. Whoever runs this place either doesn't want a lunch trade, doesn't understand marketing, or is a complete fool. Our bill for 2 plates of nibbles $285
