Stopped by for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. It's got a cozy feel inside and the food and service was great. The local competition is a bit more of a greasy-spoon compared to the Beachside Eatery. I got a nice plate of food, and even an option of a specialty bread for my toast...Will be back for breakfast soon and hope to try the burger for lunch soon as well. Keep up the good work...
Where to start. First, you can park the sled on the lake beside this little quaint place. Second the owner greeted us at the door with a smile and a lot of pride and ownership. Third, clean. On and on. Great food, service and coffee. We all had breakfast at 1130 and the omelette is one of the best I have had and she decided what was in it. Thank you. Well done and see you again.
Stopped in to this little gem to have a bite to eat. Loved that it was right on the water. The staff were very friendly and we felt like we were old friends!!!! I had the chicken fingers and fries which were to die for, and my hubby had the cheeseburger and from the oohs and ahhs he sure looked like he was enjoying his lunch. We spent a bit of time afterwards on the grass outside the restaurant/motel and had a really nice afternoon. The owner showed us one of the rooms in the motel and it looked clean and fresh. If we decide to spend an overnight at Alberta Beach we will certainly be booking there :)
The Eatery does it again. Took our May long weekend visit to the Beach and made the Eatery a must do stop. Damned if they didn't expand the menu with clam chowder and Montreal smoked beef sandwiches. Being a foody that we think we are, the clam chowder was amazing. The young owner/operator just smiled when we asked if she made it, and the Montreal smoked beef sandwich must have been 2" thick on a fresh eye bread (it certainly wasn't store bought). Listen people, if you're looking for real smoked beef sandwich, save the air fare to Montreal and drive out to the beachside eatery at Alberta Beach, you won't be disappointed. Nice work Beachside, we'll be back for more ..
