O Penedo - Albufeira

Food is tasty,but portions are extra small. If you want to eat big, find another place. Ordered sword fish with vegetables and boiled potatoes. Got 3 small potatoes and steamed carrots. Sword fish steak was ok. Terrace view is awesome.

I really good atmosphere, with a fantastic wiew. The food was good, first sardinspread with bread. Main course, Cataplana, seafood in tomatosauce with monkfish. The fish was not overcooked, and the tomatosauce had a good taste of herbes and fresh vegetables. Served in a very hot bowl. Drank a glass of good vinho Verde. Though there was very busy, there was a good personal service. The price was ok. I was there once more for cake and coffee. Very good juicy almondcake.

Came in to eat on a whim, ordered a prawn starter, garlic bread, catch of the day sea bass, salmon and steak. All were beautiful! Got two bottles of house wine for €11 each, could not recommend this place enough. Lovely atmospheric views and great service!
