The views overlooking the beach and sea are amazing and the large comfortable chairs were ideal for chilling out and soaking up the views whilst enjoying a nice bottle of wine. The staff were fantastic, friendly and accommodating and when our little boy cut himself they were great in helping us to fix him up. We ate here a couple of times and the food was nice although as someone else has said the Piri Piri chicken isn't worth getting little bits of roast chicken on the bone basically. If you're looking for somewhere a little more quieter than the Old Town Square bars with stunning views and friendly staff this is definitely the place to come.
W were recommended this restaurant by a fellow holiday maker. They told us to try the chicken and mushroom which we did. It came on a board /sizzle plate. Nice and hot and very tasty. Don’t try the chicken piri piri, it’s not worth it. It’s the roughest parts of the chicken not cooked in piri sauce but in a little dish next to it.
Having lunch. Plenty of customers. Sitting outside. Very good view by the sea. Food and drink was good. Dont find anything being negative. Staff were very present and helpful. Mussels were hugh and tasty. Bruschetta Down was surprisingly good. I will go again in few days time.
Came here for some drinks in the afternoon ... Nice view and comfy seats however very expensive! We only had 3 drinks and it was a lot of money. Next time will get a drink from a shop and sit on the beach to save some euros.
This is another one owned by ' 'Down Town Restaurants Co. ' ' They also have another establishment in the main Plaza in Albufeira Old Town. Went here with my wife for a simple coffee and cake, accompanied by our little girl for the afternoon. The place is very relaxing with wonderfully comfortable ' 'papasan ' ' chairs. Gorgeous views of the ocean and is right on the beach, immediately around the corner to the left, as you come out of the tunnel. The offerings we had though were not that spectacular: the coffee had a slightly unpleasant after taste, as if it had been over-brewed. The cheesecake I ordered tasted old and not freshly made. The flavour was ' 'stale ' '. Might come back during a future holiday to try something different and see if that was just a fluke that day. Clearly a great place to have a cold drink or cocktail on a hot sunny day. Good service and lovely atmosphere.
