Firehouse Subs Cottonwood - Albuquerque

Every time I come here, always greeted by friendly staff and the food is always great. One of my favorite sandwich places.

Sandwich was pretty good, they don't put enough meat on their sandwiches. Service was slow... It was lunchtime.

This location, along with the location at the Academy, are my favorite Firehouse spots. Team members are always friendly and helpful. Be warned that they can be busy during lunchtime, so if you are in a hurry, maybe call ahead to confirm waiting times, but don't blame the team. They do their best. Know that it no longer costs to update your soda to a large one, and if you are not sure to buy which sub, just ask someone behind the counter and they will help you. Personally, my favorite right now is the Spicy Cajun Chicken, but the Hook and Ladder are their classic. If you've driven, but never stopped, give them a try!

Good subs and fair prices, but setting is quite obvious if you do not include a tip! If a tip is required for a pleasant return, then it should be added to the invoice.

Very frustrating experience with pick up order. Arrive 5 min after promised time, order not ready. Crew had plenty of time to socialize with the door dash driver about weather and reminiscing about growing up around Rio grande high. No sense of urgency. Seemed like no one really paying attention. My order was incomplete, probably mixed up with the door dash one. Had to go back a second time to get everything. I just didn't seem to matter to them.
