I am convinced this place is trying to give me cancer. This is the third time I have purchased food and the styrofoam melted. Styrofoam has a low melting point! There’s no way I am not the only customer disturbed by this. I appreciate that their food is fresh but their food is also costly enough where they should consider paper-based take out containers and think twice about serving melted plastic in food to their customers and it’s presentation.
Women at the counter were rude and not helpful. We looked around for a napkin or gloves to serve ourselves a pretzel with cheese. Found a napkin and put one in a container (with them watching the whole time). Get to the counter to pay for it and a few sandwiches, was told rudely they are supposed to serve us. THEN, why didn't they? They literally watched us struggle and no directions are posted.
Pretty good for hospital food, honestly. Burgers are VERY salty, but this may depend on the cooks for the day. Sausage and green chili breakfast burritos are delicious. Green chilis were flavorful. Italian sub pictured was made very well. Had this 2 times. Service is good. This is definitely captive market pricing though...Food: 4/5
Typically I order from here 1-3 times a week and I get the same order: Summer salad or frito pie and chips with salsa. The chicken in the salad is hit and miss. At times you can tell it was made fresh when you ordered other times it has the dark color that fried chicken gets when its been sitting out for awhile or else it hardly has any color and was barely cooked and is cold in the middle. For an $11.50 salad this inconsistency is highly disappointing. The prices overall are a bit high for a food place located in the hospital outside the ER where there is constant business. After the last instance of poor food quality, I won't be returning. Additionally, there are cashiers and other employees that have a poor attitude towards customers so perhaps the prices, food quality and the customer service are their ways of letting customers know they don't care if you return because they have stead business with or without you.
