Los Cuates - Albuquerque

I ordered take out nachos and they were poorly made. The chips were stale and I had to wait a total of 40 minutes for them. Gave them another chance to order food again, placed my order online and went to pick it up during my lunch break (after waiting 30 minutes after I placed my order) they said it would be another 30 minutes. I told them to please cancel my order as I couldn't wait there another 30 for some enchiladas and nachos. The girl upfront told me to cancel my order online and I let her know there was no option to do that. She told me to call corporate for a refund. Called corporate to ask for my refund and they said the regional manager will take care of it same day. Waited 4 days and no refund. Called again and the girl that answered told me she would let the regional manager know and she would call me. Never called me. Next day I get an email from the regional manager that they finally processed my refund. Overall, I did way too much to get my refund for food I never got. I shouldn't have to follow up with a regional manager days after they said they took care of it. Between the last order I got, the hour long waits, and my experience with management. Probably won't be visiting them any longer. It's a shame as they are down the street from me.

Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! My husband and I moved to Albuquerque in March. We visited the month before and walked to this location to try a taste of this Amazing New Mexican food we had read so much about. It was a two mile walk and we would do it again. We even moved in nearby, which is good because their drinks are great! We are there at least twice a week, typical date night spot. We?ve come to know the staff well and the manager is an excellent host! This crew knows how to make you feel welcomed! Even when we have to grab our food to go--common workday lunch spot?the A+ service and delicious meals are just as good, and it?s hard to find great food that travels well. I think we?re gonna like it here in New Mexico. Hope to see you here. Allen

One of the best new mexican restaurants I have ever had. If you want to taste authentic new mexican food then visit this place. The amount of serving is pretty good! Sopaphia?s are so soft and delicious!

Front service was uninviting. Very meh. Shrimp cocktail was just overloaded with onions and celery, lacking in shrimp and way too sweet. Rice was undercooked and gross. The Chile with the chips was unnecessarily sweet. Enchilada was good. Server was nice. Took forever to bring out the sopaipillas- they actually forgot and I had reminded them twice.

Traveling and found this on Google Maps when looking for fajitas. You won?t be disappointed because it?s great. Joshua the waiter suggested Carne Adovada that was awesome and the fajitas were equally as great. Don?t forget the huge sopapillas, they are unbelievable. Salsa was a sweet/spicy mix and really good. The staff was very friendly and interacted with you, great job! Perfecto!!!
