The second time we had the May Cafe Soup with noodles and it was amazing! The spring rolls are the best we've ever had. My hubby and I agree that we could make a meal out of nothing but their spring rolls! YUMMY!! The service is outstanding and everyone is so very nice! We plan to go back this weekend. Definitely our new favorite place to eat!
It got good wonton soup. I actually liked it. Especially the beef in that. I well try it again for sure. Thanks May Cafe for giving me me a welcoming environment and waitress to explain all the yummy stuff. I'm going to have to bring a friend next time.
I’ve been visiting May Cafe for over twenty-five years, and I’ve never been let down. I absolutely love the bun dishes, and I always make sure to order the Vietnamese coffee—it's delicious! It remains one of my favorites, and my mother loves it just as much!
It was good as always. We ordered the cube steak and udon noodle soup with shrimp. Both dishes were tasty, though nothing out of the ordinary. The soup contained four small shrimp. They do provide basil leaves for the soup, which weren't available during our last visit. The Thai tea, however, was excellent.
The Egg Drop Soup had both yolk and whites! The Combo Vermicelli Bowl was served on a plate instead of a traditional bowl, but that didn't take away from the incredible flavor of the fresh, perfectly cooked ingredients. I initially thought this was just a one-time occurrence, but I noticed plates being used in El Paso as well; perhaps it's a trend in the western part of the country!
