Ojos Locos Sports Cantina Albuquerque

The food is great, the drinks are alright, but the music is really disappointing. The selection needs to be more varied.

I stopped in for lunch yesterday since I've had great chicken sandwiches in the past and good service but today was very different. The restaurant wasn't busy but the service was very poor and slow. The waitress nadia was far more interesting in changing the songs on the TV or checking her phone to even bother to take my order and never even realized I needed a refill until my food came out 25 minutes after I sat down. It was pretty clear that everyone in her area was having the same experience because people were even getting up to go get her or to go pay to leave.

Bad food, bad service. Had security guys at the door to pat you down. Everyone standing around doing nothing!

Went there tonight to eat dinner and have drinks, the security by the from door turned my friends and I away because it was 3 guys. However, other groups of people after we arrived that had girls were able to go in. I don't understand why this is. The security told us it was because they had no tables available. So interesting when I saw so many tables available. Such a sexist place, just adding more to it.

We requested a sign, but it never arrived, and my partner had to go to the kitchen to get one himself. At one point, the server rudely asked if we didn't like the service when all my partner had done was ask for a napkin and some ranch dressing. She then returned to us asking the same questions, which felt very unprofessional since we hadn't even finished our meals. We understand it can get busy, but it's vital for staff to keep customers informed during those times and offer some apologies for the delays. Overall, it was a disappointing experience despite the food and ambiance seeming promising.
