Amici on Dean - Albury

Avoid ordering from this restaurant - I was very disappointed! The restaurant was obviously closed, but they still took our money. We placed an order for our family's birthday dinner through the Amici website, which indicated that the restaurant was open. Our payment was processed and we received an order confirmation email. However, after waiting for the 60 minute delivery time, the status still showed that our order was being prepared. We tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but no one answered and we were sent to a voicemail. Our food never arrived. We are now wondering if we will ever get our money back.

We decided to give Amici's a chance, but it turned out to be a huge mistake! It took over an hour and a half to get our food after ordering, even though the restaurant was only a third full. The schnitzel was mediocre, thin and small, and the chips and salad were barely edible. The prices are too high for the quality of the food. We will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone.

PLESE don’t even go here. Over 1.5 hour wait for our meal (and there was only 2 of us and the place wasn’t busy). Also the chicken schnitzel was like a cheap bought one from a shop and the salad was limp with nothing much on it. No apologies for the late meal . Seriously will not be going again and will not be recommending this to anyone. Grrrrrr

Service was fine and friendly. The food was really not good. Pasta was over cooked and extremely unauthentic for Italian. We only had pastas and salad, perhaps the pizzas are better. Unreasonably overpriced.

I ordered through Uber Eats while staying in Albury. Despite being given available time options, the confirmation stated half an hour later than time I selected. I had to call them when I was still waiting 15 after their chosen due time. They seemed confused, then informed me the order was ready and the driver would be back in 5 minutes and straight out to me. My hotel was 2 blocks away. After another 40 minutes passed I called again. More confusion, then I was advised the driver knocked and I didn't answer. I said he couldn't have knocked as I was sitting less than 2 metres from the door. More going backwards and forwards, then was told he had left it at reception. When I went to reception they advised he had gone around the corner then came back and said he couldn't find the room, dropped the order on the desk and said she could call me. He made no attempt to find the room as he was too quick coming back. The room directions are clearly marked on the walls. When I opened the meal, not only was it stone cold and greasy, but the salad was missing. When I called they said he forgot the salad in the car. No offer to resolve the issue, just playing the blame game. I'll never order from here again nor will I recommend to anyone. Just disgusting... pity there isn't a zero stars option.....
