The food is amazing and you would think you were eating at a restaurant in Melbourne. Staff were very good and the food was exceptional. Try to book ahead as I could only get in with work colleagues 3 times during my stay as I think guests from the hotel book it out as well as the locals
We planned a night here to celebrate one of the party’s birthday. She called days before and booked a booth for 3. When we arrived they said we had to sit at a high table, we explained we booked a booth, there was one set for three and there was no reservation sign on it. WaItress checked several times and we were told no, bookings can be changed and we couldn’t have it. Explained two of the group have back issues and it is too uncomfortable to sit at a bar-style table, they eventually gave us a low table, which was more like a table for 2 with a third chair added on the end, in the walkway. We ordered four lots of share plates and drinks. Took quite a while for drinks to arrive and waited a long time for food to arrive. One plate of little dumplings arrived. We tried to flag down a waitress for another drink who said we had to wait while she went to a larger table because they have been waiting 20 minutes. Eventually got a drink and remaining 3 dishes arrived a very long time after we had finished the first one. The moment we finished, the almost non-existent attention from the unfriendly wait staff suddenly intensified and it was obvious they were eager to get us out and use the table. Nice food but wouldn’t rush back, especially for a special occasion.
The place is buzzing, you need to book. The food is an Asain influenced combination of many yummy things. I had the Sticky cauliflower the first night Kind of like Honey prawns, but cauliflower instead. Also thr crispy eggplant steam buns which you construct yourself. Not as good as the cauliflower. Went back next night with a friend and had cauliflower, also an extraordinary dish called Red Curry Prawn san Choy Bow a real standout. The best pisk were the scumptious Asian mixed greens Veggies never tasted better. Dumplings were ok, 4 dishes were too many to share between the 2 of us, but nice to get the wonderful taste sensations. The place is noisy, so many people enjoying the food. each share dish was under $20
Best atmosphere and food! Can’t go past the fried cauliflower and pork bao buns! I can’t bring myself to order something different because it is 11/10 every time
I stopped by this restaurant for a quick dinner with my work colleagues while in Albury on a business trip. I was extremely impressed with the food, service, and overall atmosphere. We requested a speedy meal service due to a post-dinner commitment, and the staff had no issues accommodating our request. The staff were exceptional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Our server, Zac, was outstanding. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.
