Soden's Hotel - Albury

Lovely pub meal in a comfortable setting. What made the experience exceptional was the staff...without exception all were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful: . when we arrived, before the kitchen had opened for the evening, a dip platter was sourced for us to have with our wine ( the dips were house made and extremely good!!!) after our meal we wanted to sit in the lounge area as the recorded music was interesting so the music was turned up for us.... would absolute recommend Sodens

Once again, we stayed across the road and ate in the bistro. We have done this before as the hotel offers good quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. At this time of the year, both venues are not that busy and the surrounding area is virtually free from any traffic noise or crowded areas.

We have been going to Albury Hotels for years now mainly to eat. Sodens has always been good, but lately there seems to be new faces and managers that are well above the service that some other local hotels provide. Perhaps they came in with the new owners?. We have been there 4 times now and the staff are always very happy and always make us feel welcome as well as an acoustic guitar guy playing in the bar. The food is also very good and fast. Can't say enough good things

Had a table booking on Saturday night, meals came out quick, the young team there were very busy but really made sure all tables were serviced well. They also had an acoustic guy playing in the bar which was a really good atmosphere

Went for my daughters birthday as a large group. Waitress couldn't get order right. Had elderly parents with us and band was so loud they couldn't hear each other talk. They did complain but nothing was done. The meal was very ordinary and my Kiev was dry and no filling at all. At the end of the night took them over 20 minutes to sort the bill out. Used to have amazing meals but won't be back
