Zen X - Albury

Food was ok. Not really Japanese taste. Not sure whether customer comment of saltiness caused the cook to hold back on salt or soy sauce but our sauce was really watered down for Ebi fry bento meal we requested. Miso was good. Gyoza passable, sushi was a bit disappointing. Maybe dinner time is better because they have an actual Japanese chef .

The teppanyaki chef offered a great service, we had a very pleasant time

Very salty, lacked depth of flavour... At least they're enthusiastic. They don't take a repeated no (to catching things in your hands, bowl or mouth) though, so if you have issues with consent then don't sit at the grill.

Rip off. $45 for a banquet which was quite basic. We ordered green tea which the waitress said was included in the banquet and usually is elsewhere, but were charged another $5 each for a small cup of green tea. Would not go there again.

Excellent service and in contrast to many other places in albury they are ready to take customers at almost any time and do not add any holiday supplement. the bankett and the teppanyaki are amazing. the chef puts a great show with flames and catch the food, while the banquet is fast decorated excellent and substantially
