Taco Bell - Alcoa

This is the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The service is terrible 80% of the time, making me feel foolish for even considering a return visit. This place desperately needs new management and should be shut down for a week to retrain their staff. I've made complaints both to the restaurant and the company, but it seems like no one cares. They have permanently lost my business.

I would not recommend this Taco Bell. The tables were very dirty and had not been cleaned. When we ordered a combo, we did not receive our drink or taco. After asking about the missing items, we had to wait 10 minutes for them to be brought to us. The staff seemed disorganized and lacked attention to detail. I suggest trying another Taco Bell location instead.

Would like to see a little more healthy on the menu.

It twas the night before Christmas at 297 South Calderwood St. In Alcoa, Tn. And all was not well. I was looking for somewhere that was not real busy so I could stop and get something quick and take it back home. As I drove by they had a girl outside taking the orders. There was 3 cars in line. I thought this would be great. So I pull in line. Big mistake. It would take about 10 minutes for her to take each order and the car to move forward. There was a second guy just setting out there with her. He just set on top of a cooler and they did a lot of talking. Then she kept looking as each car pulled in and out of the parking lot. So after about 30 minutes in line and the 3 cars in front of me were gone. I made it up to her to place my order. She said sorry for your wait we are backed up inside. Then she would start talking to the other guy and start watching the cars come and go. Finally after several minutes she turned to take my order. Before she would say anything. She would close her eyes like she was thinking about what she had to say. Each time she said anything she would do that. Sometimes taking a minute to remember what she wanted to say. Finally after my long wait of close to 40 minutes my order was done and I pulled forward. I get to the window. The girl there took my money and the food was already waiting for me. The inside did not seem to be the backup. It was the girl taking orders. I don't know what world she was in but it wasn't this one I'm sure of it. While I was waiting for her to take my order I was thinking. If they are so backed up inside. Why don't they have these 2 people inside working to help speed things up. Things would have went much faster had they sent her home and used the intercom system. When I got home the order was correct and my 4 tacos were good. If you stop there you better not be in a hurry. Because someone forgot to tell them why it is called fast food.

The cashier was friendly and quick. I received my card back promptly and my food was handed to me. The meal was hot and delicious. It was prepared easily and was of outstanding quality. The staff members here made everything right and enhanced my day. Thank you!
