Cabanas Brasserie - Alcoutim

Inflated prices, small portions, low average level of cuisine. Unfortunately, this is one of the typical cases of exploitation in the Algarve that give the region a bad name at this time of year in gastronomic terms. I wouldn't recommend or return.

We had some tasty clams and prawns here, delicious and good value. Lovely friendly owners. Good choice of food for all the family.

Not only do you receive a warm welcome from a family run business, the food is fresh, traditional and is a favourite of ours (been travelling to Cabanas annually for over 10 years). The desserts are especially lovely!

Food was fab, wine was excellent, host couldn’t have been more attentive.Well worth a visit- it’s takes a bit of finding!

How refreshing to have visited a lovely little restaurant in Cabanas tonight. The restaurant is away from the popular water front but its beauty lies in the warm welcome from the host. Nothing is too much trouble and you really do get excellent service at very good prices. It isn’t fancy but the food is homemade and delicious and we felt relaxed and well looked after. Our course meal plus a bottle of wine, beers and coffees came to Euros for the two of us. Excellent!!
