Country Hills - Alexandria

Relaxing lighting and colors. Professional waiters. Food didn't take long to be served and it did taste good, the chicken wings were just too oily. A bit over-priced but kinda worth it.

Despite its American style, there is little here to distinguish Country Hills from 500 other places along the Corniche. Artificial, liquid cheese sauces appear on many items; meats tend to be over-cooked; typical and uninteresting menu choices. Also, it 's unbearably LOUD in here. We had to repeat everything we said in conversation two times in order to be understood. That said, the food presentation was nice. My burger looked good and didn 't fall apart while eating it. My friend 's rib eye steak was over-cooked, but it looked nice. The French fries were at least cooked and had some flavor. Service was attentive and prompt.

The food is bit above average, I recommend deep dish pizza! STAY AWAY FROM CHICKEN BALLS IT'S WASTE OF MONEY. However, there's a BIG issue in the restaurant as they add service charge(12% of your order) to receipt then add a VAT (14% of your order service charge) which is unreasonable and unprofessional because it means they take a taxes for the service!

Such a large American kitchen food was great and the staff was helpful.
