Enat - Alexandria

This was my first experience with Ethiopian food and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was great, featuring a small bar and a pool table on the other side of the dining area. The service was friendly and welcoming. I ended up feeling really full, and I wish I had saved some space to sample the pastries from the bakery next door. I'll definitely have to try them next time!

This place is fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Our server was very attentive, and we had a wonderful time. If you're looking for a clean and fun atmosphere with delicious food, I highly recommend checking this place out. It will definitely be our go-to spot!

At one point, the owner came over to give us a quick lesson on how to use Injera for our meal. (They don’t provide cutlery, so you use the Injera bread to scoop up the food.) I realized I was using way too much Injera for each bite and ended up being the first in my group to run out! As a fun coincidence, at the end of our meal, another diner named Brook approached us and insisted on treating us to our meal. We learned that "Brook" is a common male name in Ethiopia, meaning blessed and peaceful.

Enat is a decent Ethiopian restaurant in the Alexandria area. It is a smaller more cafe style restaurant with strong spicy food. I recommend getting the Agegelel option for variety. What was also nice to try was the Areke which is an authentic vodka style drink that you don't find in many America based ethiopian restaurants. All in all we had a good experience here. Don't expect 5 star service but do expect some tasty food

I have been a regular customer at Enat Restaurant for years. They offer excellent kitfo and Yebeg Wot. The staff is very friendly with outstanding service. There was never a disappointment. The owner is very pleasant and accommodating as well.
