We opted for the family-style brunch, which included 3 appetizers and 3 entrees pre-portioned for two. Overall, everything was incredibly tasty. The only downside was that the fried chicken was a little bland and dry. Our order included house-made donuts, deviled eggs, Sunday salad, shrimp and grits (our favorite), French toast, and chicken and waffles.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic. I ordered the chicken and waffles and loved every bite. The portions were extremely generous. Even as a big eater, I couldn't finish the double-sized portion. The food was delicious.
The family-style brunch is tasty and definitely worth the price. Some delicious dishes to try are the jalapeño hush puppies (the sauce on top provides the heat) and deviled eggs.
Arrived tonight for a nightcap, but instead had a life altering, off menu, late night snack. We shall call it Spicy-honey, Kashaya in honor of the server who personally took what I am sure are otherwise great grilled wings with chili powder from the kitchen, and then tossed the 6 wings in honey before plating them for my enjoyment. Should YOU want this wonderfully unique goodness, you will need to call and ask when her shift is... and ensure you sit in her section
Eureka! I found the best hot chicken sandwich ever! We just decided to try this place on a whim and it knocked us over with the quality of the chicken. I had the Hot Chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. My wife had the chicken salad. We had the Jalapeños hush puppies as a side. All were outstanding! Wish we had one of these where we live.
