Taj Of India - Alexandria

This was our second time trying Indian food and we both decided to dine in. We ordered the Butter Chicken with Rice, the Garden Green Salad, and their Garlic Naan. The food was delicious and the portions were very fulfilling. It was a great place for a date, with a tranquil environment that wasn't too loud. We will definitely be coming back!

Ordered takeout online. I got veggie samosas (no complaints) and mixed veggie bharta (good), plus garlic naan (good). But the yellow daal wasn't good at all not a rich and thick daal full of yellow lentils but a watery soup with virtually no lentils visible.Service was friendly, but it seems my online order wasn't noticed until I showed up to pick it up. The employee found the order, printed a copy, and took it to the kitchen. I waited another 20 minutes (I'd ordered 45 minutes earlier), indicating they hadn't started it until I arrived.

We are new to the area and have found our new spot! amazing food. Did not disappoint two times in a row now. Saadi provided the best service as well.

Super fast and super yummy! I ordered the veggie samosas, shrimp rice, and garlic naan. The apple butter and chutney sauces were delicious! While i only had take out and could not rate the atmosphere, i can comment on the fast service! Door dash delivered in less than 30 mins on a Saturday night. Enjoy!
