The Dairy Godmother - Alexandria

Excellent small boutique restaurant. would rather come to such a place than find worth in the tourist areas of alexandria. the short ribs and polnta were phenomenal. we're coming back!

I love this place. the cocktails are great and eating is wonderful. feels very cozy and personal.

We had great cocktails/drinks, delicious teller to share and amazing entrees. mike and the staff are great!

My wife and I live in del ray and have enjoyed the reserve at several earlier locations. unfortunately our recent visit was disappointing. the service was friendly but very inefficient. we waited for some time to have an opportunity to ask for our bill, and then again processed the bill for the payment. our favorite entree, the wagyu sirloin was reworked according to our opinion badly. the dish is now overly sweet with a side of sweet potato, grilled pineapple and a blueberry sauce. if the steak were hurried to put the rest of the teller, the concept might work. as is, they have to eat the steak separately, followed by the kartoffel side and then the pineapple sauce can be dessert. as our previous experiences were so stellar, we will probably try again before we continue, but the opposite has too many possibilities to have a nice night in disappointment.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Too bad we were almost the only table in there more people need to check this place out definitely worth it!
