Valentino’s Pizzeria - Alexandria

We enjoy visiting this restaurant for its authentic New York style. For her, it evokes memories of home, while for me, it represents the excitement of discovering somewhere new. The pizza is consistently excellent and perfectly cooked, and the staff are always cheerful and helpful.

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is enjoyable, complemented by great music and delicious pizza. The cheese is definitely the highlight for me. I find that their pizza reheats well, though I understand that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to taste. They offer some unique pizza options, like Asian fusion, baked ziti, and even veggie slices topped with salad. I appreciate how quickly they customize a slice to your liking. Plus, they go above and beyond by offering not just grated cheese and pepper, but a variety of toppings as a personal bonus!

My husband and I visited Valentino's Pizza for the first time. They have a large variety of pizza, stuffed breads, and more. It was impressive, I must say. Their pizza slices are like NY pizza slices. ???? I had to cut mine in half to really enjoy.

The restaurant offers decent food, but the prices for pizza and subs are a bit high. The quality of the ingredients is good; however, I don’t believe it delivers the authentic Italian NYC flavor. I found the taste to be somewhat mild, although still enjoyable. Would I go back? Maybe.

Updating the review, but leaving the initial experience below. To avoided the Slice app issued, called in an order for pickup. Large pizza, half pepperoni. Said it would be 30 minutes and was ready on time. Odd positive, but I feel like their pizza sizes are larger than standard. The medium/small is 14 and the large is 20 . It's a BIG pizza. So far it's as close to what I was looking for when it comes to NJ/NY style pizza. Now it was a little pricey as the large, half
