Visualizza tutti i feedback.
Sydney’s iconic bakery @bourkestreetbakery that has expanded internationally to the big apple. Had their sourdough roast chicken sandwich and it was really good. They have an amazing range of artisan bread, sweets, savoury pastries ,croissants and all things magical. Don’t forget to try their ginger creme brulee, I loved how it was not overly sweet and it had a good balance of flavours. Hopefully they will expand their doors to Melbourne soon
I love Bourke Street Bakery, every pastry and pie from there is always a winner, and it reminds me of home (New Zealand) where the pies over there rank the best!!<br/ <br/ My favourite pie is anything with Beef, I recently got this Potato Top pie which was AMAZING! My friend had the Plain Beef pie which was also good. <br/ <br/ Would happily recommend this place to any pastry lover!
Most sausage rolls suck because they're just full of meat flavoured breadcrumbs but theirs is so good I wish I wasn't hungover so I could enjoy it even more.<br/ <br/ The pie was also really good. <br/ <br/ The lemon tart was prefect, the best pastry I've ever had and the filling was amazing, the only downside was that I got it as a take away and ate it when I got home, at which point I realised that I'd made a terrible error and should have bought at least 5 of them.
Had a delicious pie. And a decent coffee. We got a bunch of mixed sweets to share as well and they were all tasty. Service was really friendly.
Can always count on BSB when I am stuck on what to eat or need a pick me up. As it was so early in the morning, I skipped the amazing pies sausage rolls opted to try the bacon egg roll almond praline croissant. Love the bread used for the BAE roll the tomato relish. There was also a generous amount of bacon so it was highly satisfying. The almond praline croissant had a delicious filling that was moist, crunchy sweet. The pastry on this particular occasion though was a bit over baked for my liking was fairly crunchy hard around the outside rather then just right flakey. Still love this place of course I couldnt help but get a few tarts my favourite muffin to go.
