Cantine Verte - Alexandria

Welcome French caffe for the industry, spin it a bit with interesting baguettes and suppen. a bit expensive for such thin baguettes but and the coffee was sluggish.

I stopped a quick lunch here, was not sure what to expect. beautiful interesting menu, with foods that it relives. friendly quick service. excellent coffee, beautiful cake and menu was very good. had warm baguette and my friend had an salat maybe a...Tad salty, but overall a great experience. worth visiting if in the opposite.

I tried the Superfood Salad (3/5) which was packed with brown rice, quinoa, slivered almonds, and pepitas, making it quite hearty. The portion size was very generous, ensuring that you would leave feeling satisfied. However, I found that it lacked a strong flavor profile. Adding more sultanas for sweetness or a different sauce for some saltiness could have improved it, as it was a bit bland. It was an okay salad overall, but not the most outstanding I've ever had. The staff were fantastic, which was a definite plus.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for businesses in Alexandria. It's wonderful to have a healthy lunch option available. I ordered the superfood salad and was extremely satisfied with it. At $12, it was a large portion packed with crunchy textures and delicious flavors. The outdoor seating is a bonus and I would happily return in the future!
