La Palmeraie - Algiers

If you want to taste some local cuisine, that is the right place. The food was delicious and served on time.

Globally it was good. I'm from the ouest of Algeria there's room for improvement. It was nice but I won't visit it again

The place is good , i think they can renovate it to be more comfortable, but the food is good .

My review 2021. Disappointing change!! No value for money! I’ve been with friends for Ramadan Iftar on April 28th, 2021. First: the waiter received us like in a « bistro ». No menu, he was fast spelling what was available, not even a menu « chicken m7amar, chicken lemon, beef balls, beef sauce, beef ... ». I was embarrassed with my guests. Later on, food came: ramadhan chorba: not hot, quantity very small, and 5x bourek for three guests, how to split? main meal: had the m7amar with olives!! Choking with salt and nothing than few olives with the almost burnt and hard chicken ! finally the promised sweats plate: few sweets, looked like Samssa but no terrible taste. We did not have the traditional music but a noisy English football game. We paid +10,000da for three and we were still hungry... what a shame in the month pf blessings! Terrible experience. Never again!! ———————— My review 2019 A must visit place in Algiers. The place is really cauzy and charming and food is really a travel to Morroco. Try the Tadjines (all) and the lamb Mechoui. For drinks; the natural lemonade is refreshing. Avoid the couscous though: in Algeria; this is common dish and nothing funcy about it. Staff is pleasant. A not to miss place.

The kind of restaurant we want to see more and more in Algeria I was just there on Algiers, and to my beautiful surprise my companion made me discover this wonderful restaurant where everything was perfect, decor, service, and especially dishes. The menu is quite rich and appetizing. If I could give a little advice to the team it would be fair to include some vegetarian choices. I will certainly go back there:
