They were perfectly fried and served generously in a large box so that your ketchup, salt, and vinegar could reach all of the fries. They were also delicious. The chef/owner is a friendly and cheerful woman who entertained us and explained all about her business while we waited. It was a great stop.
If you are driving/or flying (truck is beside Stanhope airport) the chips were fantastic, well fried, generously served in a wide box so your ketchup/salt/vinegar reach all the chips and tasty to boot. The chef/owner is a friendly upbeat lady who entertained and explained all about her business while we waited. Great stop
The hand-crafted French fries were made with the best potatoes, resulting in a large order that was both sizable and full of flavor, priced at just $2.75. The cheeseburgers we ordered were tender, juicy, and flavorful, with fried onions on top. Be sure to grab some napkins as they are quite juicy! We were impressed not only by the great taste and low prices but also by the large 20-meal order recently placed by the Ministry of Natural Resources. The chip truck has been receiving rave reviews through word-of-mouth, and Kim's friendly nature adds to the overall experience. Located near Stanhope Airport in the Algonquin Highlands, just off HWY 118 East, about 10 minutes east of Carnarvon, "Delightful Temptations" is open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, closed on Tuesdays.
My friend and I drove for an hour to check out the highly praised Chip Truck called "Delightful Temptations". This new operation, which opened in mid-May 2016, is owned and run by Kim, a skilled chef and long-time restaurant owner. Kim's main goal at "Delightful Temptations" is to offer great tasting food at very reasonable prices to all her customers. The French Fries are hand-cut and made with high-quality potatoes. Even a small order was quite large in size and bursting with flavor. The price of just $2.75 was a pleasant surprise. We also tried the Cheeseburgers, which were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. They came topped with fried onions, and were so juicy that we needed extra napkins. We were extremely impressed with the delicious food and affordable prices. The Ministry of Natural Resources recently placed a 20-meal order here, which is no surprise considering the rave reviews the Chip Truck is receiving through word-of-mouth. In addition to serving great food, Kim is also a kind and friendly person. The Chip Truck is conveniently located by Stanhope Airport in the Algonquin Highlands, just a short drive off HWY 118 East and about 10 minutes east of Carnarvon. It is open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, closed only on Tuesdays.
