We went to have breakfast in this popular place to find out that the churros were terrible greasy and the chocolate was nothing like spanish chocolate. The croissant was gross not at all appeal. In Spain there are so many good places to have churros con chocolate, but not everyone know how to do it right. Cafeteria El Teide to my opinion don't have the right recipe.
With the bakery adjoining being part of the cafeteria a break here is a fight against putting on weight. Nothing is too much trouble for the cheerful friendly staff, even to interpreting to Spanish from English when one is having difficulties in shopping nearby. I never visit Alhaurin de la Torre without a visit here and if I am honest there are not many days when I don 't call ion for a drink and usually a 'tarte ' When I stayed in Spain for an extended period and was quite ill I received a fantastic welcome when I finally limped in after a fortnights recuperation and genuine concern to build me up again with pastries and hot drinks. The younger members of staff speak some English but I always had fun trying to make myself understood when arguing the merits of Barcelona FC as opposed to Real Madrid. Make a point of visiting if you like good pastries and enjoy a friendly atmosphere when relaxing.
