Bar Restaurante El Pintat - Alicante

Last night with my husband and 4 friends, we went to El Pintat to try their newly started Saturday night dinner dance on the outside terrace, so lovely and cool. The starters had 5 different dishes which filled the middle of the large round table. As one of our party didn't eat meat, there were plenty of fishy alternatives. My husband and I had the baby lamb shank in a lovely sauce, whilst others had pork fillet in blue cheese sauce and dorada with a green sauce all served with duchess potatoes. I'm afraid that I couldn't eat all my meat, as there had been so much to eat. Next time I'll save more room for the best dish! There was the house speciality for dessert,Millojas, which is puff pastry filled with custard cream and chocolate, plus other naughties, but I had the turron icecream which had chunky almonds in it. Whilst this was going on the resident duo ASTRAL were singing away, till we felt able to get up and dance away some calories under the stars all this including wines coffee was only 20 euros each good home made food. We'll be back next Saturday with another group of friends!

Ayer viernes teníamos una celebración familiar, elegimos un menú especial que estuvo muy completo, con cinco entrantes a compartir y a elegir el plato principal, el arroz a banda muy rico y abundante, los entrecots de ternera fabulosos, un solomillo a la miel super tierno y qué decir de la atención, fue muy familiar.
