El Palé - Alicante

El Pale is a hidden gem of the central Alicante food market. Everything is top 5! Food was extremely tasty, the owner super down to earth and hostile, good beer. Very much recommended for a very luxurious and unique lunch in such urban market surroundings. Although all dishes were delicious, we very much enjoyed the mixed smoked meats and fish plate Very much recommended for those seeking for a true foodie experience and high quality dishes. We are very sad we got to know about this place only the last day of our holiday trip, otherwise we would have revisited it a few more times.

Unforgettable experience in central market. You will not be disappointed if you enjoy tartare, fish and true local expertise.

We had a great choice of fish tapas and smoked meat. One of the best tuna tartar, great choice of cold smoked fish and meat. Fantastic mercado experience!!!

We liked the tapas well, really tasty- good service and nice prices. The atmosphere was also good, not too crowded and original furnitures/decor. We especially enjoyd the lamb, potetoes and shrimp croquettes. We will also recommend the house red wine.

We had dinner here tonight, and it was an unforgettable experience the food is superb we had the foie and the Sea Land platter both are simply delicious, but I expect everything on the menu is a delight do go, you won’t regret it the chef is brilliant!
