La Cantonada - Alicante

My twin brother Stephen and I were walking down Avenida Oscar Espla when we decided to drop into La Cantonada and what a great tavern this is. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here ,the interior is superb ,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room,dark wood features throughout ,lovely decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Avenida Oscar Espla,it's just a great traditional tavern to chill out in. We sat outside were we ordered and were served bottles of Heineken beer ,these were served iced cold and sparkling and with a delicious bowl of olives which were delicious and much appreciated ,we kicked back,chilled out and took in the great tavern we were in. A big fan of this beer ,it's a light and hoppy beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink ,it was just so good being in such a fabulous tavern enjoying a freezing cold beer sat with my twin brother Ste ,best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to La Cantonada we were totally impressed. La Cantonada is easy to locate along Avenida Oscar Espla and is well worth checking out if you're in the area.

La Cantonada on Av.Oscar Espla is a very good tapas restaurant and bar and is well worth visiting if your in this area of Alicante and is listed as closed but it isn't. A superb tapas restaurant and bar with an excellent interior with a traditional Spanish look and feel and fantastic seating options throughout its whole interior. There is an excellent outside seating area on Av.Oscar Espla and when we were here this is where we sat as it was a roasting hot day when we went here. We only visited for a quick drink as we had just had a meal so we had a few glasses of Coca Cola Zeros which where served iced cold and were well priced. This is a brilliant tapas restaurant and bar with superb staff who make you feel really welcome and is well worth a visit.(This is my first review of La Cantonada). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-Don't Know.

I was staying close to this restaurant , came here 3 days in a row , fast service , fresh food , and extremely friendly staff. I always asked for the menu lunch typical Spanish thing you pick one starter one main dessert or coffee included for 12 euros , what else can you ask for ; Thank you for making me fell welcome

Comida muy buena y casera. Le recomiendo el placer cantonado. excelente tratamiento.

Sinceramente, todo lo que comí en este establecimiento fue rico. El estofado del calamar me amaba. El trato fue excelente. Todo el mundo con buen humor, con la racha que llevamos puesto es agraz.
