Manolete - Alicante

We went here for a beach lunch, fast service and shadow, but that were about it. Except from the olives the food was not even up to beach restaurant standard, tasteless fish and soggy fries and calamaris...I think the next-door restaurants would be a better choice.

Arroz a banda and arroz marisco very good, the sardines and sepia also worth it. Salads, boquerones, and mejillones. Good for lunch and also for dinner.

This is a no- frills, 100% authentic beach side eatery. No english, but very friendly family run business. Extremely good value for money, lovely setting by the beach breeze. Not a place you would go out of your way to visit, but uf you are in the central part of playa san juan, this one beats all the other tourist traps and chain food places hands down
