Maritimo Picnic Cocina - Alicante

This is a lovely establishment, the staff keep watch on who is sitting down outside, so the service is almost) instantaneous and the food and drinks are truly outstanding. Could not be a better watering hole.

We dropped in here on a chilly February day, but got a warm welcome. The English lady owner was very helpful in describing dishes to us and we settled on 2 different types of paella one with seafood one with rabbit and chicken. Both were delicious, with a salad to start. Their dessert menu is all home made puddings, and we tried 4 different ones between us, all delicious and good size portions. Would definitely recommend.

Maritimo Picnic Cocina is in the Port Area of Javea, and is a great place to relax, enjoy a drink and admire the sea views.

We came over from Denia on the Catamaran boat. We saw this lovely restaurant overlooking the sea and decided to stop for lunch . We ordered a beautiful salad fresh and varied with potato bravas With drinks . The service, price and quality of the food were all top notch, WiFi worked well too Thank you we enjoyed our special moment.

We stopped off for a coffee and found a lovely table for two overlooking the beach. We waited for about ten minutes till someone actually noticed us. We ordered our coffee which was nice. The food looked good and plenty of it so we looked at the menus. We finished our coffee and tried to get he attention of the young man serving but he was too busy. We tried for another five minutes but gave up, went to the bar and paid.
