Monte's Lounge - Alice Springs

A funky place with some interesting decor, manikins, carnival stuff, etc A range of seating from outdoor bench/picnic style to indoor. Laid back, Kid friendly. Selection is a step above pub food. Burgers are good, Salads good, good kids selection, pumpkin and feta pizza is great- recommended. Fair selection of beer and wine. Service is good/standard for the Alice. One of our faves in the Alice.

Was there for one of the Trivia nights and had great fun. Food was nothing to rave about but this is off set by great atmosphere and the people was nice. Being a large group, we tried all the pizza that was on the menu and drank all the beer there was!

We had a beer and a whine. It was nice and this not only for the accomodation but it invites you also to get in contact with other visitors as we did. In that way a drink gets a new dimension. Perfect.

Loved this casual pub. Good grub,friendly atmosphere, family and dog friendly. A nice outdoor area. A great alternative to takeaway food and let's you realise that you are in a country town in the middle of the Australian desert.

The surroundings are very rustic but the food was pretty good , although starters and main course arrived at the same time.
