I have been coming here for a very long time, almost since they opened. The food is great for the price you pay for sea food. However as of late, there is a new young lady cashier who takes your order and handles the dining area, who has the most horrible, condescending and just a bad attitude. She also makes mistakes on your order, (I am hoping it is a mistake), then provides an absolute minimum help to get your order ready for pick up, and then she walks away and points to your order for you to pick up. I had to ask the cook to complete my order. This has ruined it for those of us who have stayed loyal, have been coming here and been enjoying this place. This is my 3rd encounter with this specific young lady, and it's the same every time. I was hoping she was having a bad day. Sorry to say they will be losing more customers, they most certainly have lost me. Why would any one bring their business here when it lacks even the common courtesy. She is rude, incompetent and most certainly retaliates by mistreating the very customers that get jobs depends on. I know good help is hard to come by, perhaps the managment can try some PR CLASSES for her, although I doubt it would help HER. Ugh so disppointing.
First time here. The fries are crunchy and flavorful. Clam chowder was yummy and had enough clams. Chicken teriyaki was very moist and tasty with a nice side of cabbage salad. Fish chip was very good as well. Pretty legit.
Fish and chips is totally on point. 2 generous pieces of cod. Wack coleslaw. Nothing else matters. The fish Uber fresh!
For anyone who knows me well, you know I love fish and chips. But, they have to be great. I enjoy the chips that are not too crispy, but fried just enough to hold up to the malt vinegar. And the fish breading needs to be crisp and not oily. So I am a tough customer when it comes to fish and chips, and Fish District is a winner!
