On the phone I was promised a cake topper and candles. I reviewed the colors (ombré shades ofblue). Everything was confirmed and they took my payment over the phone. I get to the store (night of cutting the cake), and thecake is incorrect. They only had one shade of blue. There was no decorations as the picture. I looked at the paper that had thename for the birthday girl, it had no specifics written down. THE CAKE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE HAPPY BIRTHDAY written on it. They eventried to get me to sign a paper that says once I walk out, I don't get a refund to which I refused to sign. The lady at frontsaid to call denisse (the cake decorator) and she'll be able to help me the next day, since she had left. Well due to it being abirthday weekend I count call until 4 days. I called and they said they can't do anything but provide 4 maybe 6 cupcakes tome???? Ridiculous. Denisse said she isn't the owner so that's all she could do. I requested her to call the owner inform her ofwhat happened and get back to me. No response. Still haven't heard back. I would not recommend this place. Also I still have thecake sitting in my fridge because it was not good. There was only once slice cut from the birthday girl. Horrible. I should?velistened to previous reviews. Btw the owners don?t visit the store but every 2-3 months according to Dennise. So that?s probablywhy I haven?t received a response.
I want to give a shoutout to a company that we enjoyed visiting, Bliss Cupcakes. I am a lover of sweets, and my husband and I were window shopping when we stumbled upon this adorable bakery. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a delicious smell. We had the pleasure of meeting Alexandra, an employee who was kind and had a beautiful smile. She talked to us about the different flavors, and we finally made our choices - I got the lemon cupcake, and my husband got his favorite, chocolate. They were both absolutely delicious. They also offer cute samples that you can try before making a purchase. Stop by and enjoy some delicious cupcakes at Bliss Cupcakes! Martha, a very happy customer.
It appears that three years ago, there may have been a different baker at Bliss Cupcakes, as reflected in the positive reviews on Facebook and Google. However, the quality seems to have declined since then. Two years ago, I tried their strawberry cupcake and was disappointed to find it was not fresh, with dry cake and overly sweet, grainy buttercream. Wanting to give them another chance, I returned with my child to try the Red Velvet and Italian Wedding Cake cupcakes. Unfortunately, the same issues persisted with dry cake and overly sweet, grainy frosting. I was very disappointed to learn they use corn syrup in some of their items, which led me to decide not to recommend Bliss Cupcakes at this time. In comparison, Marketstreet's pastries and cakes are always moist with smooth buttercream.
The price of the cake balls was reasonable, but unfortunately, they were not good. I purchased some for my daughter's birthday, and even though she loves cake balls, she did not enjoy them. My husband and I also found the taste to be lacking, as if the cake was not fully cooked. I would not have been able to identify the flavor if I hadn't ordered it myself. It had a strange, moist flour-like taste. We will not be returning to this restaurant for cake balls. However, the lady who helped us was very kind and polite.
I bought cupcakes for my son's birthday party. The cupcakes taste amazing; however, the way they package the cupcakes, the icing was squished making them look very ugly. The young lady at the front apologized and stated that happens. I will not come backbecause presentation is very important and the pretty cupcakes turned ugly in those small containers. Just use less icing or getbigger containers!
