Allendale Grill

It was very dirty. French frys and popcorn all over. One of our chairs was wet and never wiped down before we were seated. Our food came out cold and had to be sent back. Both of us did not feel well later that night. I think it was the chicken wings.The waiter was very nice and helpful. We won't be going back. Hopefully, they will pay more attention to the cleanliness!!!

Tied to the sister location The Mahwah Bar and grill, this cool looking bar in downtown Allendale is a nice looking spot with a bar and TVs for watching the game. Unfortunately maybe I caught them 2 times on bad days, but the food wasn't that good. The clams had alot of sand in them and were way too salty. The chili was overly sweet and the dish my son had was hardly aby flavor. I guess the trade off is they serve free popcorn :

I’ve come here for three years for my birthday, I love this place. It’s great for a casual setting, great drinks and lots of options for food. I love their wings the most, they have the best wings I’ve had!

Below Average. Pros: Free Popcorn, Good Pretzels, and Nice Staff. Cons: Average Service, Disappointing Food, and Okay Atmosphere. Mahwah Bar and Grill is still better. Finally, the food had almost no taste. 5/10 Would maybe recommend.

Good food. Friendly staff. Overhead lighting in dining area way too bright. Server was not present when food appeared, and food runner almost ran away before we could check doneness of burgers or request extra napkins and steak sauce. He brought the steak sauce, but I had to get my own extra napkins. Server finally showed up to ask how everything was, but too late.
