Great atmosphere, solid selection of ales. Had the salmon and vegetables cooked perfectly. Friendly staff, great service. Favorite pub in town so far.

A very nice olde world pub, good selection of beer steak n Stilton pie a joy to eat. Very busy tonight but no worse than the oddfellows or dog gun....

Absolutely banging food, six of us piled in quite late in the evening after a day of mountain climbing, quickly cleared us a table and served us nice and quickly, food was top notch, particularly the pies, cheers The Bank Tavern
