Went in for lunch and was greeted by the manager who seemed very condescending and patronising her tone was very blunt and unprofessional to say the least. When we sat down the table was sticky and the menus were covered in water stains and barley legible the pricing was appalling I paid £6.95 for a tuna and cucumber sandwich which tasted awful the tuna was gone off and left me feeling very unwell and being sick for the rest of the day. Also I was sat in side watching the way the manager was treating her staff there was 2 young girls one of which obviously hadn’t been trained properly (not her fault) she was being berated for not knowing what to do when it wasn’t busy (cleaning and place holder jobs) which was shocking coming from a manager who’s job is to train her staff members I find this terrible coming who is a manager at a hospitality business I can’t lie I don’t understand why she is a manager because she is clearly incompetent and just seemed like a bully in general
Wouldn 't go again. Walked in and nobody greeted us or said hi or anything. Sat at a dirty table and picked up some menus and went to order and pay. Drinks arrived and were plonked on the dirty table, still not offering to clean it. Soya milk was completely lumpy and off and upset my boyfriends stomach to the point where he was throwing up most of the day and had to cut our holiday short. The breakfast wasn 't even the best, very standard. Asked one of the girls for toast with no butter and we just got a 'sure ' and walked off. So if you want to treat yourself to miserable young staff and a bog standard breakfast, go here+
Great little cafe with superb staff and more importantly the food was very good too. Well priced too. Xx
Stopped here for a breakfast bite before we travelled home after a few days break , firstly I thought the menu was a bit limited but we decided on an egg barm and a Cumberland sausage barm , bit surprised I was asked to pay before we received our food , understand now as I wouldn't of probably paid , how wrong can you get two barms , my wife's egg looked like it was run over by a steam roller and my sausage was burnt to a cinder , pre cooked breakfast ingredients were just put in plastic containers and left on a cold shelf , think the owners or staff were completely out of their depth .
