Today went patrick and I went to the coffee and a bite from here. we had first tried it on the kirkstile. low numbers of staff meant that the pub was closed to 3 o'clock and no eating was served from then until 5.30 o'clock. we have made a good choice because the café garden was open again. beautiful square with chairs and tables behind the shop. pleasant wc with baby changing facilities also. the birds eating fatballs made for entertainment in this quiet location. the americanos were very good and both the ham sandwich (by lindsays metzgern in cockermouth) and the chocolate tiffin were excellent. total costs £9.20 of my opinion worth a visit.
Fantastic local business, my partner and I stayed in huts only on the road of this business. After a long trip from london it was great to go to a local business to foot, and what was a tasty bite, local products that tasted fantastic, great quality and a chance to invest local businesses. in our last night we asked the to order dinner in a couple of meats and they were happy to commit, I look forward to the sampling of the lamb they ordered from the metzger for us. I will be sad to leave lorton and the chance to buy in such a fantastic village gemstone. we hope to be back.
Beautiful local business and caffe, large selection of tee and coffee. directly on the sea 2 sea way. they call themselves the shed with a view and what a view it is. customer toilet, tap water bottles, even tire pressure pump. well done.
