We wanted to eat somewhere in cockermouth. we saw how highly rated portofinos was and decided to book. wow! they were very courteous, service was excellent and friendly and eating was beautiful. we were a party of eight and all the dishes were fantastic. hot, came close together and were delicious. could not recommend!

We arrived in Cockermouth in the late evening for a walk and hadn't made a reservation for dinner. After quickly scanning the menu to accommodate my vegan partner (who enjoyed a delicious risotto), we were pleasantly surprised by the prompt service and tasty, freshly prepared food. Sharon, our server, had a fantastic sense of humor, was very welcoming, and just the right amount of quirky. We highly recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure you don't miss out on this place.

Beautiful meal as always, personal are great, I would highly recommend this restaurant, first class. in our beautiful city cockermouth.
