The Briery - Allerdale

While staying at North Lake Lodges, Aspatria looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch did an Internet search for somewhere within a 30 minute drive was very luck to find The Briery Bar and Restaurant. On arrival met with a warm welcome, opted to go for traditional roast beef, meal was served hot and well presented. Food potions good, and all freshly prepared vegetables. Dessert lovely. Booking required as restaurant was busy. Lucky find and thanks to all the staff.

Had a delicious beef roast dinner with the family. Staff were friendly food was lovely. Nice decor inside. Great to find a local pub and not another chain.

Had a great meal here. Good portions and quick service. Recommended. I had a Prawn Salad with chips which was delicious. There was a good selection of Cheese cake desserts which my friends enjoyed

Ordered take away Sunday lunch due to a family member being poorly. The roast beef dinners were beautiful, the portion sizes were big and very well cooked and the presentation was perfect. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and they even carried my food to my car. I would highly recommend going to for a meal at The Briery and I will definitely be going back . Well done guys

Fantastic service, food was very well presented, great sized potions, lots of choice. The food was piping hot. There were 25 of us at a party night, and everyone in agreement, the food was amazing. Highly recommend
