Ususally visit for a drink but this time popped in for something bite to eat for a change , not disappointed very good food, staff lovely, well recommended

Spot on lovely greeting when we turned up In our motorhome. Food filling the steak pie was fat free. The locals recommend the fish and chips. We would stop here again on our travels. Thanks the Stag Inn.

This charming pub is situated in a fantastic location. The food and service were superb. The portions were generous, with a wide selection of dishes to choose from and an excellent variety of real ales available.

While driving along the west coast through Maryport, we decided to stop for lunch at The Stag Inn Crosby, Maryport. The young lady at the bar greeted us warmly and escorted us to a clean and bright dining room. A sign indicated that the food may take a little longer as it is cooked fresh. The waitress was very helpful and provided detailed descriptions of the menu options. When our lunch arrived, we were impressed by the presentation and generous portions. The food was delicious and I even complimented the chef (which is rare for me). To top it off, the bill was surprisingly reasonable. This was our first visit to The Stag Inn and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking quality food and excellent service at a fair price. This review is a true reflection of our positive experience as happy customers.

The seafood platter and steak pie at this restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. However, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. The tables and carpets were sticky, which was quite off-putting. I had to use baby wipes to clean the tables myself.
